Yachtcharter Warnemünde
Warnemünde was build around the year 1100 as a fishing village on the Warnow estuary and already belongs to Rostock since 1323. With the start of the bathing culture in the 19th Century Warnemünde evolved into a popular seaside resort. At Alten Strom you can find former lodging houses still bear witness to the revival of the city as a fishing port and tourist destination.
The beach promenade with shops, cafés and restaurants invites you to stroll and the wide, sandy beach offers itself for swimming and sunbathing.
East of the Warnow estuary, one of the largest marinas in the Baltic Sea, the marina Hohe Düne, was built. This marina let little to be desired for yachtcharter crews and is particularly suitable for a weekendtrip. The approaching is from the east, heading 270 degrees. Thanks to the fired pier heads fired the retraction is possible day and night. The approachl of the marina from the western is via the main fairway, however, only for boats with less than 2 m depth recommended.
The most coveted berths in the Alten Strom are located directly on the harbor area. Varied dining options are available here in front of your yacht. Therefore, Warnemünde is arguably one of the most popular destinations for a weekendtrip at the German Baltic coast.
