Yacht Charter Faaborg

The town Faaborg on the isle of Fünen is always worth a visit on your yachtcharter trip in the Danish South Sea. There is easy access to the harbour if you are coming from the Small Belt or from a south-easterly direction. On your way to the harbour you will pass the isle of Aero.

Due to the shallow waters in the Danish South Sea safe navigation is essential und you must stay in the fairway in order to sail round the islands off the coast.

Ships can be moored along the quay walls in the commercial harbour and at the jetties. The marina is quite narrow and therefore not recommended for larger yachts.

The shore leave through cobblestone alleyways is a feast for the eyes. The old town of Faaborg with its pretty old houses, the massive bell tower and the medieval city gate is in excellent condition und absolutely worth seeing.

In Faaborg good restaurants and nice cafes are waiting for your visit. Maritime souvenirs can be found at a well stocked yacht supplier.

For a break enjoy a day on the nice sandy beach south-easterly of Faaborg.
