Yacht Charter Korsor
In the middle of the Great Belt is Korsor, a harbour on the isle of Sealand. Korsor is a good stop-over on your way to the North because you can enter the port right from the Great Belt. Attention must be paid to the shoals in the south and north of the harbour entrance.
Korsor is a good port for trips to the Danish South Sea, to the islands of Smalands navigational waters and towards the Kattegatt. The town offers good supply facilities at the town center which is accessible within a short distance by foot and where typical Danish cafes allow for a visit.
For a long time this Danish island was connected from Nyborg to the capital Kopenhagen by ferry.
Since the opening of the Storebaelt Bridge in 1998 there is a connection between the Danish islands and the main land but also to other Scandinavian countries via Korsor. From the harbour you can have a magnificent view of the illuminated bridge across the Great Belt after sunset.
There are still ferries operating to Spodsbjerg on Langeland.
Meanwhile numerous historical buildings in the center of Korsor are homes to museums and exhibitions and recount for the history of this Danish town.
